The Hybrid

Even before Afton was born, we were curious about the combination of characteristics from each of us she'd end up with. Here's what we've figured out so far:
Eyes and eyelashes -- Tony
Nose and lips -- Heather

Hair color -- Tony. Hair texture -- Heather

Dislike of things fitting too tight (not a fan of the swaddling) -- Tony

Inability to practice delayed gratification when hungry -- Heather (We think she's trying to suck her thumb, but she usually ends up with the whole fist in her mouth).

Difficulty napping during the day -- Heather. Waking-up habits (waking up slowly while grunting frequently and stretching, then opening only one eye (the left)) -- Tony.

She's definitely ours, and we love her!
