The recipes

What Tony failed to mention in his last post is that, although the upside to me cooking can be (hopefully) something good to eat, the downside is cleaning up my mess... (We have a "the cook doesn't do the dishes" division of labor, and I have not yet mastered the "clean as you go" method as well as Tony has - ask my mother about it sometime -- so the poor guy ended up cleaning gazpacho spots from the kitchen floor).

(For the tortilla espanola, I added two minced garlic cloves, a couple more eggs, as well as salt and pepper. Also, I don't think I subscribed to the "middle should be runny and gooey" part of the instructions -- I let it cook until the entire egg mixture was set).
