On Saturday, I was getting ready upstairs while Tony was entertaining Afton in his man-cave downstairs. I heard a blood-curdling scream from Tony. I knew he was watching sports, but it was golf, so I was perplexed. I mean, maybe the mighty cougs during football season could prompt such noise, or even a double loss of BYU and Duke within minutes of each other during March Madness. But Tiger Woods missing a putt?... Loving wife that I am, I finished getting ready and then meandered downstairs to see what had happened.
Enter Afton.
Turns out Afton decided to re-enact some scenes from Twilight. She went in for what appeared to be a kiss but came out with a chunk of Tony's shoulder. No exaggeration here. She drew blood. She tried to do it twice, but Tony was able to fend her off the second time. (Her six teeth may seem innocent enough, but don't be deceived...)
We shouldn't be so surprised. After all, when we tell her to give her stuffed animals a kiss, she opens wide, clamps down, and shakes them vigorously while only holding them by her mouth.... We now encourage [read with frantic voice] "love kisses!!!"

Those teeth do look vicious, and they are sharp at that age. Poor Tony! You need to convince her she's not a carnivore that needs to bite and shake her prey!!
Ahh. . .Sweet Baby AFton!
I can't believe you got such a good picture of the teeth! That's hard to do at that age.
I hope she didn't learn it from Gibson.
She is still cute though!!
Do I need to get some kind of shot or immunization before I come to Utah again?
This brought to mind the old "Slug Bug" for when a VW "Bug" was spotted. The children became so vigorous that we had to change it to "Love Bug", ala "Herbie". The never got into the hugging, but they did quit beating one another up.
So, since Tony's been bitten, are we worried about him?
