Ever since Afton started throwing out a consonant "m," which she coupled with her previously known vowel "ah," my new goal as a mother has been to get her to say "Mama" (and know what it means). Forget getting her interested in joining the independently mobile world.
We don't know where she picked up the King Kong belly-beating behavior.

Wow! Afton is way too funny. For not crawling, she moves her arms really quickly. I loved the facial expressions at the end of the clip.
She is so cute. I wish that I could be there to kiss the sweet cheeks. Don't worry about crawling. She will. And once they get mobile, watch out!!!
Love Grandma Debbie
I love the transition from the "ma-ma-ma's" to the yawn. Pure Afton.
Isn't it obvious? Afton is trying to fly!
Well, she's firmly planted, but happy and that's the important thing! No wonder she's tired--all that exercise! Sorry, Heather, you;ll probably have to wait about a year before the "mama" is something she says and means! Then, she'll probaby say "dada" first!
Look at that cute little girl!!! I wish I could hold her.
